A | Page 142 of 144 DETERMINING THE VERSION OF THE ADE7566/ADE7569 Each ADE7566/ADE7569 holds in its internal flash registers a value that defines its version. This value helps to determine if users have the latest version of the part. The ADE7566/ADE756 version corresponding to this datasheet is ADE7566/ADE7569V3.4. To access this value, the following procedure can be followed: 1. Launch HyperTerminal with a 9600 baud rate. 2. Put the part in serial download mode by first holding SDEN to logic low then resetting the part 3. Hold the SDEN pin. 4. Press and release the RESET pin. 5. The following string should appear on the HyperTerminal screen: ADE7566V3.4 or ADE7569V3.4 |
