Bit 0 moves into the carry flag and the original carry value moves into the bit 3 accumulator position. % +. Operand Binary Code Operation Notation A 1 0 0 0 1 0 0 0 C ← A.0, A3 ← C A.n-1 ← A.n (n = 1, 2, 3) Example: The accumulator contains the value 5H (0101B) and the carry flag is cleared to logic zero. The instruction RRC A leaves the accumulator with the value 2H (0010B) and the carry flag set to logic one. |
