3M™ Polyester Tape 8429 is a yellow splicing tape featuring a strong

polyester backing that resists breakage in high tension applications. It

features an aggressive, versatile rubber adhesive that is both solvent and

chemical resistant. Designed for splicing of photographic lm processing,

to thinner tapes.

• Aggressive rubber adhesive grabs quickly and adheres well to a variety of

lms.

• Excellent solvent and chemical resistance.

• Prolonged exposure to sunlight or hot caustics will cause to become brittle

and lose tensile strength.

• Remains exible at -60°F (-50°C) and is dimensionally stable up to 300°F

(150°C).
