Low Impedance K-SHEAR.

Incorporates Kistler K-SHEAR quartz design for high performance

qualities in a lightweight, rugged, hermetically sealed package. Significantly reduced thermal, transverse

and base strain sensitivities compared to conventional compressive designs. Advanced hybrid electronics

allow for sensitivities to 200 mV/g and a frequency response out to 10 kHz. M1 versions offer ground

isolation. M5 versions are rated for high temperature (330°F), while M8 versions are for low temperature,

cryogenic (– 320°F) applications.

Some 8704B(X) accelerometers

are also rated for high g or shock

applications up to 5,000g.
