APPENDIX C: RECOMMENDED CONNECTION DIAGRAMS

The schematics in Figures C–1 and C–2 show possible DS4201 connections for the two suspend power

mode (SPM) options. In both figures, resistor values are in ohms and capacitor values are in microfarads

unless noted.

In Figure C–1, SPM=1 and the DS4201 non–USB power inputs operate from +5V. AUX and MIC analog

inputs are attenuated and ac coupled. The analog attenuation is necessary if input levels can exceed the

Vrms max input level with +5V analog operation.
