PROBLEM
POTENTIAL CAUSES
SOLUTIONS
IntelliTune fails because of a “load
short” error
VLIM may be too high.
Reduce the current limit and rerun IntelliTune to
automatically reduce VLIM. Then reset the current
limit and rerun the scan.
Use remote command TEC:VLIM 9 to set the VLIM
to 9 V and then rerun IntelliTune.
Put a resistor in series with the thermoelectric to
increase the load compliance voltage.
Load Fault Error is triggered
A Load Fault Error may be falsely triggered
when operating near maximum current and
near maximum voltage.
Use remote command TEC:VLIM 27 to limit the
internal voltage supply to 27 V instead of the 28 V
maximum.
