13 / 17 page  Rev. 1.00 13 September 30, 2011 HT82V863R Functional Description CCD Interface TheCCDinterfaceisusedtocapturetheimage andreceivetheCMYGCFACCDrawdataandthe controlsignalsgeneratedfromtheanalogfront-end module.ThentheCCDrawdatatogetherwiththe controlsignalswillbecorrectlymanipulatedsuchas forblackclampoperation,badpixelcompensation, etc.Theprocessedrawdataandcontrolsignalswill beeventuallysenttotheColourImageProcessorto performfurtherimagesignalmanipulations. Colour Image Processor TheheartofthesurveillancecameraistheColour ImageProcessorinwhichtherawdataderivedfrom theCCDinterfaceisprocessed.Inadditiontothe colourmosaicinterpolation,severalcolourimage processormainfunctionsincludetheedgeextraction andenhancement,colourcorrection,autoexposure supportandwhitebalance,colourspacetransform, gammacorrectionandfalsecoloursuppression. Timing Generator Thisisaprogrammable96-stepprecisiontiming generatorembeddedwithaDLLtoperformtiming finetuningandtogeneratealltheCCDdatarelated controltimings. TV Encoder Thisprovidesa10-bitYCbCrdigitalinputinterface toacceptthedatastreamsentfromtheColourImage Processor(orequivalentcircuitry)andtoconvertthe dataintotheNTSCorPALTVcompositesignalor Y/Csignal. Line Lock ALine-LockfunctionisavailableonmostCCTV camerasandisusedtopreventpicturecolourrolling onthemonitor,whichresultsfromthedifference betweenthesurveillancecameraexposurefrequency andtheACpowerlinefrequency.Colourrollingwill causeavitalpictureinformationlossandwillbe irritatingfortheviewer. A/D Converter Thedeviceprovidesa6-bitA/DConverter. OSD Generator Thedevicecangenerateupto4lineswithamaximum of16characters,eachofwhichcanbeupto16×16 fontsize.Thescalingfactorcanbeupto8timeson boththehorizontaldirectionandverticaldirection. Back Light Compensation – BLC TheBackLightCompensationwillprovideperfect exposureforanobjectinfrontofverystrongback light,nomatterwhetherthemainobjectismoving towardthecenter,upper,lower,left,rightpartor anylocationinthescreen.TheHT82V863Rdevice providesasmartadaptiveBLCalgorithmtoperform compensation,followedbytheexposurelevel,with afastspeedsothatnomatterwhereonthescreenthe mainobjectismovingto,italwaysprovidesaclear picture. DWDR DigitalWDRisaproprietaryalgorithmtoprovide clearimagesevenunderbacklightcircumstances wheretherearebothverybrightandverydarkareas simultaneouslyintheviewofthecamera.Inshort, DWDRallowstheviewertoseedetailsinbothareas. CCIR656 Encoder The CCIR656 Encoder accepts the data stream derived from the Colour Image Processor and convertsthedataintoITU_RBT656digitaloutput signals. I2C Interface ThedeviceintegratesanOTPROMforfirmware storage.Thefirmwarecanbeeasilyprogrammedinto theOTPROMusingtheIn-SystemProgramming functionandtheI2Cinterface.
