1 / 2 page  All measurements in mm. fan filter assemblies – PMFA ‘T’ Series Description A family of low profile filter assemblies designed for use with both 80mm2 and 119mm2 PAPST axial fans. In both cases, the filter assemblies mount directly on to the existing fixing locations. The ‘T’ series is a compact design yet very robust for where space is at a premium. Construction The assembly consists of four parts, an outer cover, a filter pad, a mesh screen and a finger guard. The cover, mesh and finger guard are moulded in ‘Zytel’ nylon resin. The inclusion of a finger guard as part of the assembly will allow the filter medium to be changed without the equipment having to be switched off. The pad is manufactured from white polyester type KS-22. Filter Performance The KS-22 pad will achieve a 60% dust particle retention and is heat resistant to 100°C. A reduction in airflow of around 10-30% can be expected in some applications when fitting the filter assembly.
