Output current limit selection (R2-RSEL)

The linear regulator current limit threshold can be set through an external resistor connected

to the ISEL pin. The resistor value defines the typical output current threshold limit by the

equation:

Where RSEL is the resistor connected between ISEL and GND. The highest selectable

current limit threshold is 0.650 A typ. with RSEL = 15 kΩ

To set the current limitation, ±15 % tolerance, referred to the typical Imax current value, must

be considered. At this tolerance the tolerance of the RSEL resistor must be added.

For example:

RSEL resistor = 15 kΩ ± 1 %

To calculate the Imax(min) and Imax(max) values:

15 % is the LNBH23L tolerance

–1 % is the RSEL tolerance
