12 / 80 page ![]() MCP2221 DS20005292B-page 12 2015 Microchip Technology Inc. 1.4.3 GP SETTINGS MAP The GP Settings area resides in Flash memory and is copied into SRAM at run time. The user can alter both the Flash and the SRAM GP settings. Any modification in the SRAM copy of the GP settings will have an immediate effect. The GP pins designation changes according to the new content of the SRAM settings. The Flash variant of the settings will affect the Power-Up behavior of the GP pins.
