3 / 4 page ![]() Section 8: Exposure Controls/Personal Protection Engineering Controls: Exhaust ventilation and eyewash stations. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Where contact is likely, wear chemical resistant gloves and safety glasses. General Hygiene Considerations: Wash hands thoroughly after handling and before eating or drinking NOTE FOR PERSONS WEARING CONTACT LENS: If skin contact has occurred, traces of silicone resin may remain on the skin for several days, even after through washing. Contact lenses should be removed prior to working with this product. The lenses should not be handled again until all traces of silicone resin have been removed from the hands, as the silicone resin could transfer to the contact lenses and cause severe eye irritation. Exposure Guidelines: The product releases cyclohexylamine and 2-butanone oxime during application and curing. The silver coated aluminum particles present in SNL60-RXP are embedded within a matrix of silicone elastomer and will not become airborne under the intended conditions of use and therefore do not present an inhalation/carcinogenic hazard under normal circumstances. Localized argyria may occur on the skin form handling metallic silver as a result of particles becoming embedded in the skin. Stability: Stable Materials to Avoid: None known Hazardous Polymerization: Does not occur Hazardous Decomposition Products: Carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, silicon dioxide, silver oxides, formaldehyde and hydrocarbons.
