125 / 145 page  Rev. 1.20 12� De�e��e� 1�� 201� Rev. 1.20 125 De�e��e� 1�� 201� HT45F4MA/HT45FH4MA/HT45FH4MA-1 Power Bank Flash MCU HT45F4MA/HT45FH4MA/HT45FH4MA-1 Power Bank Flash MCU Low Voltage Detector – LVD ThedevicehasaLowVoltageDetectorfunction,alsoknownasLVD.Thisenablesthedeviceto monitorthepowersupplyvoltage,VDD,andprovidesawarningsignalshoulditfallbelowacertain level.Thisfunctionmaybeespeciallyusefulinbatteryapplicationswherethesupplyvoltagewill graduallyreduceasthebatteryages,asitallowsanearlywarningbatterylowsignaltobegenerated. TheLowVoltageDetectoralsohasthecapabilityofgeneratinganinterruptsignal. LVD Register TheLowVoltageDetectorfunctioniscontrolledusingasingleregisterwiththenameLVDC.Three bitsinthisregister,VLVD2~VLVD0,areusedtoselectoneoffivefixedvoltagesbelowwhicha lowvoltageconditionwillbedetemined.AlowvoltageconditionisindicatedwhentheLVDObitis set.IftheLVDObitislow,thisindicatesthattheVDDvoltageisabovethepresetlowvoltagevalue. TheLVDENbitisusedtocontroltheoverallon/offfunctionofthelowvoltagedetector.Settingthe bithighwillenablethelowvoltagedetector.Clearingthebittozerowillswitchofftheinternallow voltagedetectorcircuits.Asthelowvoltagedetectorwillconsumeacertainamountofpower,itmay bedesirabletoswitchoffthecircuitwhennotinuse,animportantconsiderationinpowersensitive batterypoweredapplications.
