Whenexecutinginstructionsrequiringjumpstonon-consecutiveaddressessuchasajumpinstruction, asubroutinecall,interruptorreset,etc.,themicrocontrollermanagesprogramcontrolbyloading therequiredaddressintotheProgramCounter.Forconditionalskipinstructions,oncethecondition hasbeenmet,thenextinstruction,whichhasalreadybeenfetchedduringthepresentinstruction execution,isdiscardedandadummycycletakesitsplacewhilethecorrectinstructionisobtained.
