Treble and Bass Shelf Filters Notch filters can be employed to remove energy that excites mechanical resonances in loudspeakers as shown in Figure 9−4. Figure 9−4. Notch Filters ALE 3.2 also supports a number of filters which are not shown here, including Chebychev I, high/low plateau, Linkwitz-Riley, and variable Q. As new versions of ALE are developed, more filter types will be added. In addition, Texas Instruments filtering engineers are available to help TAS3001 users design any needed filter type. |
