Queue Mapping Tables
Mapping is accomplished by the following steps.
1.
Find queuing class (qc_cl)
qc_sel = QMAP_QOS_TBL (qgrp,dport)
qc = (qos, cosid, pcp, tc) (qos_sel)
2.
Find queue. This mapping depends on which of the following hierarchy modes are configured:
Mode 0: Normal mode. This is the default mode on all ports. It is used for arbitrating all frames with
the same queuing class, treating all source ports equally. SE = QMAP_SE_TBL (128 + qc, dport),
inp = source port.
Mode 1: Group mode. This mode is used for having eight queues per queue group in layer 0. Used
in Carrier applications where each service should have its own queues, with a traffic profile per
queuing class.
SE = QMAP_SE_TBL (qgrp,dstp), inp = qc.
The following illustration shows the group scheduling mode.
