In Figure 35 and Figure 36 the schematics and the recommended values for external components are
shown.
The decoupling capacitor for the supply should have a value of at least 10 nF.
In order to use the alert functionality, the ALERT/ADD1 pin must be connected via a pull up resistor to
VDD.
For the serial interface, pull up resistors to VDD are mandatory.
The pull up resistors on the serial interface and the interrupt depend on the bus capacitance and on
the clock speed.
