13 / 42 page  6 Detailed Description 6.1 Overview The LM78Lxx series of positive regulators is available in fixed output voltages 5V, 6.2V, 8.2V, 9V, 12V, 15V for the legacy chip, and 3.3V, 5V, 6V, 12V, 15V for the new chip. The regulator can be configured to an adjustable output by connecting the GND pin to the center of a resistive voltage divider as shown in Figure 7-5.
