RESISTOR SENSING APPLICATION
The Resistor Sensing Circuit shown below is an
example of resistive current sensing. Because the
voltage on the shunt resistor is directly proportional to
the current IL through the inductor, RCS2 and CCS2 do
not need to match the L / DCR time constant.
Because the value of the shunt resistance does not
change with temperature as the inductor DCR does,
RT can be a fixed resistor.
