Efficiency

Figure 7 shows the efficiency for the TPS54120 at an ambient temperature of 25

°C for Vin= 8V, 10V, 12V,

and 15V. The switcher output voltage is set to 4.1V and the LDO is set to 3.3V.

This section shows a thermal image of the TPS54120 running at 12 V input and 1A load, 3.3V LDO OUT,

and 4.1V Switcher out. There is no air flow and the ambient temperature is 25

°C) is well below the maximum recommended operating condition listed in the data sheet of
