General Description

TheHT6P2x7Adevicesformaseriesofdataencoders

whichincludefullyintegratedASKtransmittersfor

remotecontrolsystemapplications.Thesehighly

integrateddevicesaretrue“switch-in,antenna-out”

monolithicdevices.Theyencode22or28bitsof

informationandthenseriallytransmitsthedataout

ontheirPAOUTpinuponreceiptoftransmission

enable(Datapins:D0~D3orB0~B1)signals.They

encodeaddressanddatainformationintoacoded

waveformsuitableformodulationandtransmission

usingtheirintegratedRFcircuits.Thedevicesoffer

high performance in two areas: power delivery

andoperatingtemperature.Intermsofpower,the

devicesarecapableofdelivering+16dBmintoa50Ω

load.Thispowerlevelenablesasmallformfactor

transmittersuchasakeyfobtransmittertooperate

withamaximumdistance.Intermsoftemperature,

theycanoperatefrom-40˚Cto85˚Cwithverylittle

frequencydrift.Theyadditionallyofferexceptional

easeofuseandcaneasilypassFCC/ETSIregulations.

Oneonlyneedsafewadditionalcomponentsfor

harmonicfiltering.ThedevicesareusedwithASK/

OOK(AmplitudeShiftKeying/On-OffKeyed)UHF

receivertypesfromwide-bandsuper-regenerative

radiostonarrow-band, highperformancesuper-

heterodynereceiverstoformacompleteremote

system.
