compensationprovidesexcellenttransientloadresponse,
requiringminimaloutputfiltering.Internalsoft-startand
internalloopcompensationsimplifiesthedesignprocess
whileminimizingthenumberofexternalcomponents.
WithitslowRDS(ON)andlowgatechargeinternalN-chan-
nelMOSFETswitchandP-channelMOSFETsynchronous
rectifier,theLTC3526Lachieveshighefficiencyoverawide
rangeofloadcurrents.BurstModeoperationmaintains
highefficiencyatverylightloads,reducingthequiescent
currenttojust9µA.Operationcanbebestunderstoodby
referringtotheBlockDiagram.
LOW VOLTAGE START-UP
TheLTC3526L/LTC3526LBincludeanindependentstart-
uposcillatordesignedtostartupataninputvoltageof
0.68V(typical).Soft-startandinrushcurrentlimitingare
providedduringstart-up,aswellasnormalmode.
When either VIN or VOUT exceeds 1.3V typical, the IC
entersnormaloperatingmode.Whentheoutputvoltage
