7-5-3-6. Cylinder Low Register

This register is used to write the lower bytes of start cylinder number used by the host in the CHS mode. At

the end of ATA command, the host can read from this register the lower bytes of last cylinder number. If LBA

mode is selected, the host specifies Logical Block Number bits A15 - A08. After ATA command completed,

the host can read from this register the Logical Block Number. For detailed operation of this register, refer

to the outline description of ATA commands as well as ATA/ATAPI-5 standard.

This register is used to write the upper bytes of start cylinder number used by the host in the CHS mode.

After ATA command is completed, the host can read from this register the upper bytes of last cylinder number.

If LBA mode is selected, the host specifies Logical Block Number bits A23 - A16. If ATA command is
