Introduction

This engineering bulletin explains how existing users of the

MC68HC811E2 could migrate to the MC68HC11F1. The last date that

the MC68HC811E2 can be ordered from Motorola is June 30, 2001.

However, beyond that date, parts may be available from Motorola

distributors.

The MC68HC811E2 is a versatile part used in many different types of

applications. This document addresses applications that use the part in

expanded mode only.
