1. All components are manufactured, designed, and promoted for applicaon in general electronic devices. For specific

applicaon uses such as in the automove, medical, military, and aerospace industries other than general electronic

devices, BI Technologies must be asked for wrien approval before incorporang the components into those areas. This

clause can be omied for any exisng product or new product that had been designed and proven tested for cri cal

applicaon such as automove, medical, military and aerospace industry.

2. Any components that will be used in high-reliability / high-level safety applicaons should be pre-evaluated by the end

customer, especially in customer applica ons in which the malfuncon or failure of an electronic component could

endanger human life or health.

3. The customer shall be responsible for evaluang and confirming that BI Technologies' products are suitable for use in

customer applicaons. If the customer applica ons require a very high level of operaonal safety, especially if failure of an

electronic component could endanger human life or health, it must be ensured by using a suitable design of the customer

applicaon or other acon taken by the customer such that no injury or damage is sustained by third pares in the event of

a malfuncon or failure of an electronic component.

4. Customers must be cauoned to verify that the data sheets are updated before placing orders, especially for standard

series.

5. The customer needs to use the part within the warranty period as stated in the quotaon. Any trouble or failure of

electronic components happening during their long life span which cannot be eliminated even a er following the

instruc on within exisng technology, BI Technologies would not be liable for it.

6. Many coa ng/pong materials would shrink as they harden. They, therefore, apply pressure on the plasc housing or

core. This pressure can affect electrical properes and, in extreme cases, can damage the core or plas c housing

mechanically. It is necessary to check whether the coa ng or po ng material used may a ack or destroy the wire

insulaon, plascs, or glue. The effect of the coang or pong material can change the high-frequency behaviour of the

components. Many coang and po ng materials have a negave effect (chemically and mechanically) on the winding wires,

insulaon materials, and connecng points. Customers are always obligated to determine whether and to what extent their

coang materials influence the component. Customers are responsible for and bear all risks associated with the use of the

coang material. BI Technologies does not assume any liability for failures of our components that are caused by the coang

material.

7. The washing/cleaning process may jeopardize the product and cause a defect. Washing agents may harm the long-term

funconality of the product. The customer shall be responsible for evaluang and confirming the product is suitable for use

in the customer's applicaons a er the washing/cleaning process, as this is customer process-related.

8. Products should not be kept in unsuitable storage condions, such as areas suscepble to high humidity, high

temperatures, dust, or corrosion, where, for example, atmospheres should be free of chlorine and sulfur-bearing

compounds. Recommended storage condion in general is +10°C … +40 °C, humidity ≤75% RH. Temperature fluctuaons

should be minimized to avoid condensa on on the parts. Avoid storage near strong magnec fields, as this might magne ze

the product.

9. The storage period should not be longer than 12 months (in the specific storage environment). Oxidizaon may occur on

the terminals; therefore, all products shall be consumed within 12 months a er the shipping date. If the me is longer than

12 months, please check the solderability before using it.

10. Don't touch electrode terminals directly with bare hands, as oil stains may inhibit proper soldering. Always ensure

opmum condions for soldering.

11. Terminals should not be bent or subjected to excessive stress. If the terminals are cable harness types, do not use the

cable harness to carry the unit or pull the cable harness with force, it may cause failure on the unit immediately or have a

latent effect.
