4. Set the fuel valve lever to the ‘ON’
position.
5. Loosen the engine speed control
knob anti-clockwise and slide the
engine speed control knob down to
the ‘START’ position and tighten in
position.
6. Hold the Recoil Starter handle firmly.
Slowly pull the handle until you feel
resistance, then let it return to its start
position.
7. Push the green Decompression
Lever (located on top of the engine)
into the down position.
8. Take hold of the Recoil Starter
handle again and pull it hard and fast
all the way out, using two hands if
necessary.
9. Turn water supply on.
