Connect the work piece to “-” and the electrode holder to “+”. This connection is
often used for alkaline electrodes. The weld penetration is deep. and good for arc
stability when using this negative connection welding alkaline electrodes.
OPERATION USING MMA
1. Set the power ON.
2. Choose “ ” MMA on the front panel.
MMA welding is possible only after the output of the machine is connected to the
welding cable.
CONNECTION FOR GAS SHIELDED WELDING
GAS SHIELDED WELDING CONNECTION
See diagram page 23 for connection between welder and other equipment.
1. Welding power supply and power supply connection
Ensure the machine is connected correctly to the power supply as described on page
13.
2. Connection of welding power supply and welding gun.
Insert the torch into the torch socket on the front panel.
When using solid cored wire, connect the electrode gun polarity conversion joint to
the "+" machine connection.
When using flux-cored self-protecting welding wire, connect the polarity conversion
joint of welding gun to the "-" end of the machine connection.
3. Welding power supply and workpiece connection.
When using solid cored wire, connect the connector of the earthing cable with the
"-" connection and the other end of the earthing cable is reliably connected with the
workpiece.
When using the flux-cored self-protecting welding wire, connect the earth cable with
the welding power supply "+", and connect the other end of the earth cable with the
workpiece.
4. Connection of gas cylinder and gas regulator
1. Fit the gas regulator to the gas cylinder and tighten to prevent leakage;
2. Insert the two-core plug on the gas regulator into the heating socket on the rear
panel of the machine.
3. Connect the pipe terminal on the rear panel with the outlet of the gas regulator
with the air pipe and secure it with the hose clamp supplied.
