SomeoftheA/Danaloginputpinsarepin-sharedwiththeI/OpinsonPortBaswellasother

functions.ThePCR3~PCR0bitsintheANCSRregister,determinewhethertheinputpinsare

setupasA/Dconverteranaloginputsorwhethertheyhaveotherfunctions.IfthePCR3~PCR0

bitsforitscorrespondingpinissethighthenthepinswillbesetuptobeanA/Dconverterinput

andtheoriginalpinfunctionsdisabled.Inthisway,pinscanbechangedunderprogramcontrolto

changetheirfunctionbetweenA/Dinputsandotherfunctions.Allpull-highresistors,whichare

setupthroughregisterprogramming,willbeautomaticallydisconnectedifthepinsaresetupasA/

Dinputs.NotethatitisnotnecessarytofirstsetuptheA/DpinasaninputinthePBCportcontrol

registertoenabletheA/DinputaswhenthePCR3~PCR0bitsenableanA/Dinput,thestatusofthe

portcontrolregisterwillbeoverridden.

TheA/Dconverterhasitsownreferencevoltagepin,VREF,howeverthereferencevoltagecanalso

besuppliedfromthepowersupplypin,achoicewhichismadethroughtheVREFSbitintheACSR
