8.4 Device Functional Modes

The TMUX722x devices have two independently selectable single-pole, single-throw switches that are turned-on

or turned-off based on the state of the corresponding select pin. The control pins can be as high as 44 V.

The TMUX722x devices can be operated without any external components except for the supply decoupling

capacitors. The SEL pins has internal pull-down resistor of 4 MΩ. If unused, tie the SEL pins to GND so that

the device does not consume additional current as highlighted in Implications of Slow or Floating CMOS Inputs.

Connect unused signal path inputs (S1, S2, D1, or D2) to GND.
