Correction of Nonexistent Data and End-of-Month
When users write the real-time data, the S-35390A H Series checks it. In case that the data is invalid, the S-35390A H
Series does the following procedures.
1. Processing of nonexistent data

In 12-hour mode, write the
PM
/
AM
flag (B1 in hour data in the real-time data register).
In 24-hour mode, the
PM
/
AM
flag in the real-time data register is omitted. However in the flag of reading, users are
able to read 0; 0 to 11, 1; 12 to 23.
*2.
Processing of nonexistent data, regarding second data, is done by a carry pulse which is generated in 1 second, after
writing. At this point the carry pulse is sent to the minute-counter.
2. Correction of end-of-month
A nonexistent day, such as February 30 and April 31, is set to the first day of the next month.
