Multi-functionInterrupt.ASIMInterruptrequestwilltakeplacewhentheSIMInterruptrequest

flag,SIMF,isset,whichoccurswhenabyteofdatahasbeenreceivedortransmittedbytheSIM

interface.Toallowtheprogramtobranchtoitsrespectiveinterruptvectoraddress,theglobal

interruptenablebit,EMI,andtheSerialInterfaceInterruptenablebit,SIME,andMuti-function

interruptenablebits,mustfirstbeset.Whentheinterruptisenabled,thestackisnotfullandabyte

ofdatahasbeentransmittedorreceivedbytheSIMinterface,asubroutinecalltotherespective

Multi-functionInterruptvector,willtakeplace.WhentheSerialInterfaceInterruptisserviced,the

EMIbitwillbeautomaticallyclearedtodisableotherinterrupts,howeveronlytheMulti-function

interruptrequestflagwillbealsoautomaticallycleared.AstheSIMFflagwillnotbeautomatically

cleared,ithastobeclearedbytheapplicationprogram.

External Peripheral Interrupt

TheExternalPeripheralInterruptoperatesinasimilarwaytotheexternalinterruptandiscontained

withintheMulti-functionInterrupt.APeripheralInterruptrequestwilltakeplacewhentheExternal

PeripheralInterruptrequestflag,XPF,isset,whichoccurswhenanegativeedgetransitionappears

onthePINTBpin.Toallowtheprogramtobranchtoitsrespectiveinterruptvectoraddress,the

globalinterruptenablebit,EMI,externalperipheralinterruptenablebit,XPE,andassociated

Multi-functioninterruptenablebit,mustfirstbeset.Whentheinterruptisenabled,thestackisnot

fullandanegativetransitionappearsontheExternalPeripheralInterruptpin,asubroutinecallto

therespectiveMulti-functionInterrupt,willtakeplace.WhentheExternalPeripheralInterruptis

serviced,theEMIbitwillbeautomaticallyclearedtodisableotherinterrupts,howeveronlythe

Multi-functioninterruptrequestflagwillbealsoautomaticallycleared.

AstheXPFflagwillnotbeautomaticallycleared,ithastobeclearedbytheapplicationprogram.

Theexternalperipheralinterruptpinispin-sharedwithseveralotherpinswithdifferentfunctions.It

mustthereforebeproperlyconfiguredtoenableittooperateasanExternalPeripheralInterruptpin.

functionInterrupt.ASPI1InterruptrequestwilltakeplacewhentheSPI1Interruptrequestflag,

interface.Toallowtheprogramtobranchtoitsrespectiveinterruptvectoraddress,theglobal

interruptenablebit,EMI,andtheSerialInterfaceInterruptenablebit,SPI1E,andMulti-function

interruptenablebits,mustfirstbeset.Whentheinterruptisenabled,thestackisnotfullandabyte

ofdatahasbeentransmittedorreceivedbytheSPI1interface,asubroutinecalltotherespective
