Thetime-outcounterstartstocountonanI2Cbus“START”&“addressmatch”condition,and

isclearedbyanSCLfallingedge.BeforethenextSCLfallingedgearrives,ifthetimeelapsedis

greaterthanthetime-outperiodspecifiedbytheSIMTOCregister,thenatime-outconditionwill

occur.Thetime-outfunctionwillstopwhenanI2C“STOP”conditionoccurs.Thereare64time-out

periodselectionswhichcanbeselectedusingtheSIMTOS0~SIMTOS5bitsintheSIMTOCregister.
