TheEOCbitintheADCR1registerisusedtoindicatewhentheanalogtodigitalconversionprocess iscomplete.Thisbitwillbeautomaticallysethighbythemicrocontrollerafteraconversioncycle hasended.Inaddition,thecorrespondingA/Dinterruptrequestflagwillbesetintheinterrupt controlregister,andiftheinterruptsareenabled,anappropriateinternalinterruptsignalwillbe generated.ThisA/DinternalinterruptsignalwilldirecttheprogramflowtotheassociatedA/D internalinterruptaddressforprocessing.IftheA/Dinternalinterruptisdisabled,themicrocontroller canbeusedtopolltheEOCbitintheADCR1registertocheckwhetherithasbeenset"1"asan alternativemethodofdetectingtheendofanA/Dconversioncycle.TheADCconverteddatawill beupdatedcontinuouslybythenewconverteddata.IftheADCconverteddatalatchfunctionis enabled,thelatestconverteddatawillbelatchedandthefollowingnewconverteddatawillbe discardeduntilthisdatalatchfunctionisdisabled. |
