Importing a filter

The APW also offers the possibility of importing the filters designed using the LinearX

LEAP© suite (LinearX© Website). This feature is implemented by the Filter import wizard

option that can be found in the File menu (Figure 32).

The import wizard appears as depicted in Figure 33. The window is divided into three main

areas: on top (highlighted in red) the file selector, in the middle (highlighted in green) the

Filter analysis and scaling information and at the bottom (highlighted in blue) the Filter

import options. These latter options are available depending on the outcome of the filter

analysis.
