4 ON-CHIP PERIPHERALS

4.1 I/O PORTS

4.1.1 Introduction

The I/O ports allow the transfer of data through

digital inputs and outputs, and, for specific pins,

the input of analog signals or the Input/Output of

alternate signals for on-chip peripherals (DDC,

TIMER...).

Each pin can be programmed independently as

digital input or digital output. Each pin can be an

analog input when an analog switch is connected

to the Analog to Digital Converter (ADC).
