Note(s):

1. When the ALS function is enabled (AEN = 1), this bit must be set to a one (PWEN = 1).

Before activating AEN or PEN, preset each applicable operating

mode registers and bits. To change register settings, it is

necessary to deactivate PON and set all applicable operating

mode registers and bits before activating PON again.

4PWEN

This bit activates the proximity wait feature which is set

by the PWTIME register. Active high. (1)

3AWEN

This bit activates the ALS wait feature which is set by the

AWTIME register. Active high.

PEN

This bit activates the proximity detection. Active high.

AEN

This bit actives the ALS function. Active high.

0PON

This field activates the internal oscillator and ADC

channels. Active high.
