24 / 46 page ![]() LM96063 SNIS149B – NOVEMBER 2011 – REVISED MARCH 2013 www.ti.com Address Read/ POR Bits Name Description Hex Write Value 7 0 E2T7 Lookup Table Temperature Entry 2 Bit 7 is unused and always set to 0 in the low resolution temperature LUT mode. In the high resolution temperature LUT mode bit 7 in conjunction with bits 6:0 of this register are used to determine the limit temperature that the remote diode temperature is compared to. In high resolution the range is 0°C to 127.5°C. In low resolution mode the range is 0°C to 127°C. If the remote diode temperature 52 exceeds this value, the PWM output will be the value in Register 0x53. Only 9-bits 6:0 0x7F E2T6:E2T0 of the temperature reading are used in high resolution and 8-bits in low resolution. Read. Only positive temperature values can be programed in this register and in all cases (Write the sign bit is assumed to be zero. Temperatures greater than 127 °C or 127.5 °C only if can be programmed through the use of the Lookup Table Temperature Offset reg 4A Register (4Eh). bit 5 = Lookup Table PWM Duty Cycle Extended Entry 2 1) These bits are unused and always set to 0 in the low resolution duty cycle LUT mode. In the high resolution duty cycle LUT mode these bits in association with 7:6 00 E2D7:E2D6 bits 5:0 of this register are used for the PWM value associated with the temperature limit in register 0x52. These bits can only be activated when PWM 53 frequency of 22.5kHz is chosen. Lookup Table PWM Duty Cycle Entry 2 5:0 0x3F E2D5:E2D0 The PWM value corresponding to the temperature limit in register 0x52 for the low resolution PWM mode. 7 0 E3T7 Lookup Table Temperature Entry 3 Bit 7 is unused and always set to 0 in the low resolution temperature LUT mode. If the remote diode temperature 54 exceeds this value, the PWM output will be the value in Register 0x55. Only 9-bits 6:0 0x7F E3T6:E3T0 of the temperature reading are used in high resolution and 8-bits in low resolution. Read. Only positive temperature values can be programed in this register and in all cases (Write the sign bit is assumed to be zero. Temperatures greater than 127 °C or 127.5 °C only if can be programmed through the use of the Lookup Table Temperature Offset reg 4A Register (4Eh). bit 5 = Lookup Table PWM Duty Cycle Extended Entry 3 1) These bits are unused and always set to 0 in the low resolution duty cycle LUT mode. In the high resolution duty cycle LUT mode these bits in association with 7:6 00 E3D7:E3D6 bits 5:0 of this register are used for the PWM value associated with the temperature limit in register 0x54. These bits can only be activated when PWM 55 frequency of 22.5kHz is chosen. Lookup Table PWM Duty Cycle Entry 3 5:0 0x3F E3D5:E3D0 The PWM value corresponding to the temperature limit in register 0x54 for the low resolution PWM mode. 7 0 E4T7 Lookup Table Temperature Entry 4 Bit 7 is unused and always set to 0 in the low resolution temperature LUT mode. If the remote diode temperature 56 exceeds this value, the PWM output will be the value in Register 0x57. Only 9-bits 6:0 0x7F E4T6:E4T0 of the temperature reading are used in high resolution and 8-bits in low resolution. Read. Only positive temperature values can be programed in this register and in all cases (Write the sign bit is assumed to be zero. Temperatures greater than 127 °C or 127.5 °C only if can be programmed through the use of the Lookup Table Temperature Offset reg 4A Register (4Eh). bit 5 = Lookup Table PWM Duty Cycle Extended Entry 4 1) These bits are unused and always set to 0 in the low resolution duty cycle LUT mode. In the high resolution duty cycle LUT mode these bits in association with 7:6 00 E4D7:E4D6 bits 5:0 of this register are used for the PWM value associated with the temperature limit in register 0x56. These bits can only be activated when PWM 57 frequency of 22.5kHz is chosen. Lookup Table PWM Duty Cycle Entry 4 5:0 0x3F E4D5:E4D0 The PWM value corresponding to the temperature limit in register 0x56 for the low resolution PWM mode. 24 Submit Documentation Feedback Copyright © 2011–2013, Texas Instruments Incorporated Product Folder Links: LM96063 |
