Time delay in the LED current leading edge
The minimum dimming duty cycle is determined based on the specification of the rising /
falling time of the LED current referred to the dimming time and on the dimming frequency.

From Figure 9 and 10 (VIN = 18 V, string composed of two LEDs) the following data can be
inferred:

Considering a dimming frequency of 250 Hz, the minimum duty cycle of the PWM dimming
satisfies the equation:
