Description

NG_MD

Indicates that the sector mode could not be determined

according to the automatic mode determination criteria.

NG_MDCMP1

Indicates a mismatch between the file number bytes

(bytes 16 and 20) during the form determination for

Mode 2.

NG_MDCMP2

Indicates a mismatch between the channel number

bytes (bytes 17 and 21) during the form determination

for Mode 2.

NG_MDCMP3

Indicates a mismatch between the sub-mode bytes

(bytes 18 and 22) during the form determination for

Mode 2.

NG_MDCMP4

Indicates a mismatch between the data-type bytes

(bytes 19 and 23) during the form determination for

Mode 2.

NG_MDDEF

Indicates that the mode and form differ from those of

the previous sector.

NG_MDTIM1

Indicates that the minutes, seconds, or frames (1/75

second) value is out of sequence.

In the continuity check for the next and subsequent

sectors, the updated values will be used.

NG_MDTIM2

Indicates that the minutes, seconds, or frames (1/75

second) value was not a BCD value.

Specifically, this bit means that any half-byte was

beyond the range for BCD (i.e. was A to F), HEAD01

was greater than H'59, or HEAD02 was greater than

H'74.

In the continuity check for the next and subsequent

sectors, interpolated values will be used.
