8.4.3.5. Thermostat mode (TM)

The thermostat mode bit indicates the device whether it operates in interrupt mode (TM = 1) or comparator mode

(TM = 0, default).

In comparator mode, the

ALERT pin is activated when the temperature exceeds the value of THIGH or falls

below the value of TLOW. The

ALERT pin remains active until it is cleared by the following conditions:

(TLOW + HYS) and (THIGH - HYS)
