In interrupt mode (TM = 1), the

_____

ALERT pin is activated when the temperature exceeds the value of THIGH or falls

below the value of TLOW. The

_____

ALERT pin remains active until it is cleared by any one of these three events: a

read of configuration register (clearing temperature watchdog flags), a successful SMBus alert response, or a

general call reset.

The operation of the

_____

ALERT pin in comparator mode is illustrated in Figure 12.

8.4.4. High- and low-limit registers

The THIGH and TLOW register formats are shown in Table 8 and 9. The default values for power-up (reset) are

THIGH = 127.9375°C (0x7FF8) and TLOW = -128°C (0x8000). Other default value settings of temperature limits can

be provided upon request. For the temperature register, the THIGH and TLOW actually have the same format of

data.
