195 / 577 page  REAL-TIME OUTPUT 7721 Group User’s Manual 10–2 10.1 Overview 10.1 Overview The real-time output has the function of changing the output level of several pins simultaneously at every period of the timer. Figure 10.1.1 shows the block diagram of real-time output per bit. Real-time output has two operating modes described below. (1) Pulse mode 0 The 8-bit pulse output pins serve for two independent 4-bit outputs. Figure 10.1.2 shows the configuration of real-time output in the pulse mode 0. (2) Pulse mode 1 The 8-bit pulse output pins serve for a 2-bit and a 6-bit outputs. Figure 10.1.3 shows the configuration of real-time output in the pulse mode 1.
