OPTIONAL OUTPUT FILTER

If an output ﬁlter is required for the CVBS, Y, UV, Chroma and

RGB outputs of the ADV7192, the following ﬁlter in Figure 101

can be used in 2

× Oversampling Mode. In 4× Oversampling

Mode the ﬁlter in Figure 103 is recommended. The plot of the

ﬁlter characteristics are shown in Figures 102 and 104. An output

ﬁlter is not required if the outputs of the ADV7192 are connected

to most analog monitors or TVs, however, if the output signals

are applied to a system where sampling is used, (e.g., Digital

TVs) then a ﬁlter is required to prevent aliasing.
