21 / 53 page ![]() Intel ® 82802AB/AC Firmware Hub R Datasheet 21 4.1. Read Array Command Upon initial device power-up and after exit from reset, the device defaults to the read array mode. This operation can also be initiated by writing the Read Array command. The device remains available for array reads until another command is written. Once the internal write state machine (WSM) has started a block erase or program, the device will not recognize the Read Array command until the operation is completed, unless the operation is suspended via an Erase Suspend or Program Suspend command. The Read Array command functions independently of the VPP voltage. 4.2. Read Identifier Codes Command The identifier code operation is initiated by writing the Read Identifier Codes command. Following the write of the command, the device will read back the (manufacturer and device) ID data from the addresses shown in the following table. To terminate the read identifier code operation, write another valid command to the Intel FWH. The Read Identifier Codes command functions independently of the V PP voltage. Table 4. Identifier Codes Code Address Data Manufacturer code 000000 89 Device code 4 Mbit 000001 AD Device code 8 Mbit 000001 AC 4.3. Read Status Register Command The status register may be read to determine when a block erase or program completes, and whether the operation completed successfully. The status register may be read at any time by writing the Read Status Register command. After writing this command, all subsequent read operations will return data from the status register until another valid command is written. The Read Status Register command functions independently of the V PP voltage. 4.4. Clear Status Register Command Error flags in the status register can only be set to 1s by the WSM and can only be reset by the Clear Status Register command. These bits indicate various conditions that may cause failure. The Clear Status Register command functions independently of the applied V PP voltage. |
