5-20 Multiplier
There is a 8x8 multiplier on-chip to enhance hardware capability in arithmetic function, its multiplication is an
8x8 unsigned operation and can be finished in one clock cycle. Before issuing the mul command, both and
multiplicand and multiplicator must be put on ACC and register mulop (0x08); After mul command, the high
byte result will be put on register mulrh (0x09) and low byte result on ACC. The hardware diagram of this
multiplier is shown as Fig. 5-20-1.
