31 / 97 page ![]() Data Sheet AD7779 Rev. 0 | Page 31 of 97 RMS NOISE AND RESOLUTION Table 10 through Table 12 show the dynamic range (DR), rms noise (RTI), effective number of bits (ENOB), and effective resolution (ER) of the AD7779 for various output data rates and gain settings. The numbers given are for the bipolar input range with an external 2.5 V reference. These numbers are typical and are generated with a differential input voltage of 0 V when the ADC is continuously converting on a single channel. It is important to note that the effective resolution is calculated using the rms noise; 16,384 consecutives samples were used to calculate the rms noise.
