Repeater Port and Main State Machines
The Port and Main State Machines are described with ter-
minology used in the IEEE Repeater specification. For a
detailed explanation of terms, please refer to that specifica-
tion. References made to repeater states or terms
described in the IEEE specification will be shown in italics.
Figure 3 shows the Inter-RIC Bus State Diagram and Fig-
ure 4 shows the IEEE State Diagram.
