68 / 120 page  68 µPD17015 13.2 LCD DRIVING VOLTAGE GENERATION BLOCK The LCD driving voltage generation block generates the voltage needed to drive the LCD. An external doubler of the µPD17015 supplies the LCD drive voltage. To configure the doubler, connect capacitors to the VLCD0, CAP0, CAP1, and VLCD1 pins. Fig. 13-2 shows a sample doubler configuration. To use a voltage of 3.0 V (TYP.), connect capacitors as shown in Fig. 13-2.
