Bit0 TnCCLR:SelectTMnCounterclearcondition 0:TMnComparatorPmatch 1:TMnComparatorAmatch Compact Type TM Operating Modes TheCompactTypeTMcanoperateinoneofthreeoperatingmodes,CompareMatchOutputMode, PWMModeorTimer/CounterMode.TheoperatingmodeisselectedusingtheTnM1andTnM0 bitsintheTMnC1register. Compare Match Output Mode Toselectthismode,bitsTnM1andTnM0intheTMnC1register,shouldbesetto_00_respectively. Inthismodeoncethecounterisenabledandrunningitcanbeclearedbythreemethods.Theseare acounteroverflow,acomparematchfromComparatorAandacomparematchfromComparatorP. WhentheTnCCLRbitislow,therearetwowaysinwhichthecountercanbecleared.Oneiswhen acomparematchoccursfromComparatorP,theotheriswhentheCCRPbitsareallzerowhich allowsthecountertooverflow.HerebothTnAFandTnPFinterruptrequestflagsfortheComparator AandComparatorPrespectively,willbothbegenerated.IftheTnCCLRbitintheTMnC1 registerishighthenthecounterwillbeclearedwhenacomparematchoccursfromComparatorA. However,hereonlytheTnAFinterruptrequestflagwillbegeneratedevenifthevalueoftheCCRP bitsislessthanthatoftheCCRAregisters.ThereforewhenTnCCLRishighnoTnPFinterrupt requestflagwillbegenerated.IftheCCRAbitsareallzero,thecounterwilloverflowwhenits reachesitsmaximum10-bit,3FFHex,value,howeverheretheTnAFinterruptrequestflagwillnot begenerated.Asthenameofthemodesuggests,afteracomparisonismade,theTMoutputpin willchangestate.TheTMoutputpinconditionhoweveronlychangesstatewhenaTnAFinterrupt requestflagisgeneratedafteracomparematchoccursfromComparatorA.TheTnPFinterrupt requestflag,generatedfromacomparematchoccursfromComparatorP,willhavenoeffectonthe TMoutputpin.ThewayinwhichtheTMoutputpinchangesstatearedeterminedbythecondition oftheTnIO1andTnIO0bitsintheTMnC1register.TheTMoutputpincanbeselectedusingthe TnIO1andTnIO0bitstogohigh,togolowortotogglefromitspresentconditionwhenacompare matchoccursfromComparatorA.TheinitialconditionoftheTMoutputpin,whichissetupafter theTnONbitchangesfromlowtohigh,issetupusingtheTnOCbit.NotethatiftheTnIO1and TnIO0bitsarezerothennopinchangewilltakeplace. |
