ThesedevicesprovideaspecialBusControlUnit(BCU)interfacefordatacommunicationsimilar

toLinBus.TheBCUinterfaceisusedtocommunicatewiththeHostandthedevicesinarapidand

easyway.Withthisinterface,theHostcantransmitcommandstoallofthedevicesandmanagethe

UltrasonicSensorsignalatthesametime.WithflexibleI/Ocontrol,thesignalprocessdatafeedback

canbereportedtothehostatthesametime.ThereareseveralcontrolbitsintheSENCOMM

registertocontrolthedatabusflow,namelyIOC,IOCNT,INSEL1andINSEL2respectively.The

IOCbitisusedtodeterminethedataflowtransmissionpathsfromPA2toPA3andtheRXdatafrom

PA7toPA6.

TheBCUinterfacecombinedwithasoftwareapplicationcanimplementanUltrasonicSensorID

Auto-Addressingfunction.

Therearetwomodesforthisinterfaceoperation:5Vand12V,describedbythefollowingsections.

Themajordifferenceisthattheapplicationhastohandlethe12Vhighervoltage.The5Vsystem

onlyneedsPA2andPA7toimplementtheTX/RXoperationswhilethe12VsystemneedsPA2,PA7,

PA3andPA6andtransistorsfortheTX/RXdata.
