• BeforetheUltrasonicSensormoduleplugontheBus,thereisnoIDinthismodule.

ThesetupfortheBusControlUnit,isasfollows,IOC=0,INSEL1=0andINSEL2=1.

WhentheIOCbitisclearedto"0",itwilldisconnectthePA2toPA3pathandconnectPA7tothe

PA6MUXinput.WhenINSEL1=0,PA3isselectedtohaveanI/Ofunction.WhenINSEL2=1,

PA6isselectedasaPA7toPA6pathfunction.

NowtheHT45F39/HT45F391beginstosendanIDrequesttotheHostthroughPA3.Allthe

moduleswhichhavenoIDinthemshouldimplementthesamesetupandsendanIDrequestto

thehost.PA7hastobesetupasaninputpinandPA3shouldbesetupasanoutputpin.

• WhentheHT45F39/HT45F391(1)isconnectecdtotheBUS,theHOSTwillreceiveanID

requestfromtheHT45F39/HT45F391(1)andsendacorrespondingIDtoit.TheIDwillbe

receivedbythePA7pin.

• WhentheHT45F39/HT45F391(1)hasreceivedtheID,ithastosetIOC=1andINSEL1=1toset

thepath,PA2toPA3fortheHT45F39/HT45F391(2).

• WhentheHT45F39/HT45F391(2)isconnectedtotheBUS,followingthestep1andstep2,an

IDwillbesenttoitbythePA7inputpinfromtheHOST.

• WhentheHT45F39/HT45F391(2)asreceivedtheID,ithastosetIOC=1andINSEL1=1toset

thepathforanothermodule.

• WhenallthemoduleshavereceivedtheircorrespondingIDs,thenwhentheHOSTsendsacom-

havereceivedtheircorrespondingIDs,thenwhentheHOSTsendsacom-

theircorrespondingIDs,thenwhentheHOSTsendsacom-

correspondingIDs,thenwhentheHOSTsendsacom-

aResponsecommandtotheHOSTthroughthePA3outputpin.IftheIDismismatched,the

HT45F39/HT45F391hastosetIOC=1andINSEL1=1tosetthepath,PA2toPA3.

• WhentheResponsecommandissentcompletely,alloftheHT45F39/HT45F391devicesinthe

modulesshouldsetIOC=0andINSEL2=1towaitforthethenextHOSTcommand.
